These Terms govern your use of the Kotha app, developed by Sariyah Tech. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Kotha helps you generate captions for your own videos and burn them into an exported clip. Transcription runs from an on-device audio extract; the final captioned export is rendered on our servers from a video you upload at export time (see the Privacy Policy, Section 1, for exactly when and how long that upload is kept). You are responsible for the content of the videos you process and for having the rights to use, caption, and share them.
2. Accounts
You need a Google account to sign in. You're responsible for keeping your device and account access secure. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Plans and quotas
Kotha offers a Free plan with a limited number of videos per month and paid Pro/Creator plans with higher monthly quotas and longer maximum clip lengths. Quotas reset monthly and unused quota does not roll over. Free-tier exports include a small watermark; paid plans remove it.
4. Payments and refunds
In the Android app distributed on Google Play, paid plans are billed through Google Play. Google's refund and cancellation rules apply; you can manage or cancel the subscription in the Google Play Store. The plan stays active until the expiry time Google reports for that subscription.
Website bKash purchases are verified against the actual bKash transaction and last for the stated billing period from verification. For refund requests on website purchases, contact info@sariyahtech.com; we handle these on a case-by-case basis and this is not a substitute for your rights, if any, under Bangladeshi consumer protection law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kotha to process content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to caption or distribute. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent quotas, or submit fraudulent payment claims.
6. Ads
The app may show Google AdMob ads. Free-tier use includes banners and a rewarded ad before export. While a video is exporting, a banner may appear for all plans, including paid. Ad availability isn't guaranteed at all times.
7. No warranty
Kotha is provided "as is." Transcription accuracy can vary with audio quality, accents, and background noise, and we don't guarantee perfect transcripts or captions. We aren't liable for how you use exported videos.
8. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may update Kotha's features, plan limits, or these Terms over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
